AG39 GLOW PLUG. 12 volt Heater Plug.
Fitted to the1500cc BMC engine in Thornycroft T90 boats, Nuffield 4/25 and Leyland 154 tractors.
Fitted to BMC 948cc engine in the BMC Mini tractor and replaces 9 volt Heater Plug 88G492 and bypass resistor.
Note:
It is very important to clean each glow plug orifice in the cylinder head.
To do this, disconnect the electrical leads and unscrew each plug from the cylinder head.
Insert an 11/64” inch (4.37 mm) twist drill into each plug orifice in the cylinder head.
Turn the drill by hand to remove the carbon deposit.
Before refitting the plugs, remove any carbon particles from the conical seatings in the cylinder head.
